Current Status

Changes to email forwarding are not fully propagating

UW Information Technology is aware of an issue that is causing changes to email forwarding to not fully propagate within Proofpoint. This is resulting in some mail going to the old destinations and some going to the new destinations.

The Proofpoint vendor has implemented a fix that appears to address the issue, and UW-IT Engineers are continuing to investigate to assure the fix has resolved the issue.

The next update will be provided at 12:00 pm on Monday 4/29/2024 unless more is known earlier.

RESOLVED: Calls to UW-IT eFax customers are not going through

UW Information Technology has resolved the issue relating to an inability to receive inbound faxes at approximately 1:30PM on 4/24/2024.  
.
A solution was found after repairs to a faulty switch were completed by the vendor which have been tested and confirmed. As a result, the Incident is resolved.

UW-IT will provide no further updates for this incident.
