RESOLVED: Calls to UW-IT eFax customers are not going through

Service to Campus eFax and RightFax numbers has been restored.  However, the carrier has not completed all repairs.  
We will continue to monitor.  The next update will be sent at 9:30 AM.

UW Information Technology is continuing to investigate an issue which began 1:30pm on 04/24, relating to an inability to receive inbound faxes.
.
A telephone carrier issue continues to prevent fax/modem calls from reaching some numbers for UW Campus, UW Medicine eFax and RightFax customers. The vendor is on site and actively troubleshooting the issue.
.
UW-IT Engineers are working on a resolution, but we currently do not have an estimated time to restore service.
.
The next update will be 08:45am on 04/26/2024 unless more is known earlier.
